Using CO₂ for cannabis growth

Cannabis extraction is the conversion of raw materials in the cannabis plant — such as CBD, THC and cannabinoids — into a useable form. It is a multistep process. Finally, yields tend to be higher using CO₂ than other fuels.

The CO₂ bubbles away once the extraction is done, leaving nothing behind. Because no solvents are used, your product is purer and cleaner. CO₂ extraction is performed at temperatures more native to the cannabis plant, whereas other methods use more heat. With CO₂, thermal degradation to both the plant and the end product is dramatically minimized.

Using CO₂ is more environmentally friendly than other methods because CO₂. The Federal Drug Administration has approved CO₂ as safe for industrial extractions.
